Team Analysis
1. Importance Important

The Boston Celtics are an NBA orginization competing in the Atlantic Division of the Eastern Conference.

2. Wisdom Important

The Boston Celtics are most often one of the top teams in the NBA. To date they have won an NBA record 17 league Championships.

3. Knowledge Important

                     Rajon Rondo Highlights

The most important player on the floor is Rajon Rondo. Assuming he returns from his ACL tear unhindered, he will remain the "head of the snake." Paul Pierce is the team leader, but Rondo makes everything happen with his ability to penetrate the defense and use his unmatched floor vision and creative passing to serve up easy baskets for his teammates, or finish with flare.

4. Current Assessment Awesome

Avery Bradley, Rajon Rondo, Kevin Garnnett, and Jason Terry will all be key parts in the outcome of the celtics upcoming season. Assuming these players stay, the Celtics will have somewhat of a veteran core to lean on. Jeff Green is still looking for consistency in his game, but could emerge as the go-to player as Paul Pierce ages. The loss of longtime headcoach Doc Rivers signals the start of a rebuilding year for the franchise.

5. Future Assessment Good

A rebuilding proccess is underway for the franchise. If they can find the right balance of young talent to add to the young core of Rondo, Bradley, and Green, and match that with some veteran leadership the future could be bright. Finding a solid player in the draft would be a big boost. How fast the celtics emerge from "rebuilding" depends on how well Rondo (ACL) and Jarred Sulinger (Back) recover from their season ending injuries. However, nothing is certain. The team still doesn't have a head coach so it is anybody's guess as to what direction this team takes. Though it does appear they do have the talent.

6. Risk Low

Personel wise the team has no players with ugly characters. Orginization wise, the franchise is surrounded by enough good people to ensure its well-being. Most likely, fans in beantown will have much to root for in the upcoming years.

7. Practice Plan Assigned

Offseason plan should be to get the most value out of assets that may be leaving. Hopefully, Paul Pierce doesn't leave, but if he does the Celtics need something worthwile in return. Plan should be focused on developement of in-house talent and making sure rehab for injured players is on schedule at the least. Any other energy should be used to search for an addition to the team who can contribute instantly on both ends of the floor.

Future Assessment Probabilities, Reasons and Explanations
Possible Outcome Probability Value Reasons and Explanations
1. Awesome   50%

The new coach is well recieved by remaining players, young talent continues to improve, and Rondo returns back to normal. Also, unanticipated help comes by way of NBA draft.

2. Good   30%

All goes well, except the celtics fail to add the few key veteran slots that complete a championship team.

3. Fair   20%

They fail to add any new players who will make a difference, but the in-house talent alows for them to squeeze into the playoffs at a 7 or 8 seed. However, they make no noise in the postseason.

4. Bad   0%

It is hard to see the franchise taking such a dip, unless Danny Ainge (General Manager) loses his mind.

5. Terrible   0%

Just not possible to decline to this level in only one year.
